Dr. Theresa Pancotto was born and raised in North Carolina and received her Bachelor’s degree from Duke University. She then completed veterinary school in Massachusetts at Tufts followed by an internship in Orlando, Florida, and residency at Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Pancotto has been board certified in Neurology since 2011. She has worked in academia for over 12 years at Virginia Tech and Auburn University. She enjoys all aspects of neurology and is an active member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). In her free time, Dr. Pancotto enjoys reading or listening to books as well as endurance sports (including running and triathlons).
