Kimm Pontiff
With over 42 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Kimm Pontiff brings unmatched dedication and expertise to her role as Hospital Manager at SCAN Naples. She holds a CVT designation and a Certificate in Veterinary Management, combining her technical skills with leadership acumen to provide exceptional care and guidance.
Kimm's journey in veterinary medicine began humbly as a kennel assistant during high school, sparking a lifelong passion for animal care. Her dedication to the profession has earned her significant recognition, including being named the FVMA Florida Veterinary Technician of the Year in 1999. She also serves as a proud board member of French Bulldog Village Rescue, reflecting her commitment to animal welfare.
At home, Kimm shares her life with her husband Joe, their French Bulldog Phoenix, and Maggie, an African Grey Parrot. She has a particular passion for fostering and rehabilitating French Bulldogs, having cared for and placed over 12 in loving homes. In her spare time, Kimm enjoys antiques, visiting her cabin in the North Georgia Mountains, and volunteering her time to rescue and transport efforts—though she humorously admits, "What's a weekend?"
Kimm's dedication to her profession, love for animals, and extensive experience make her an integral part of the SCAN Naples team.
