Our Mission

SCAN will deliver advanced, state-of-the-art, compassionate care to your four-legged best friend in their time of need.

Our team, comprised of board-certified neurologists/neurosurgeons and highly trained support staff in a specialized hospital environment, will work closely with your primary care veterinarian to provide unparalleled care to your companion. We will work with you, the pet owner, to ensure your pet’s neurological disease is clearly explained and the associated treatment options are thoroughly discussed. Every day we strive to make a positive difference in pets’ and pet parents’ lives.

The SCAN Team recognizes that each pet and pet owner have an individual set of circumstances that can and should be the driving force in veterinary-related decision-making. For most of our clients, their beloved pet is also their family member, thus we will strive to provide pet owners with as much information as possible and counsel them to make appropriate, sometimes difficult, decisions about what type of treatment will be the best for their pet. Compassion will be the underlying theme in all of our diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations.
